Rose Ann Hunter mixes a passion for history with the love of fibers, and fabrics, to create one of a kind historically inspired pieces of folk art. she teaches at  large conferences, guilds,  and museums and enjoys seeing the aha moments with the ladies that has created something so simple but so powerful in their finished project. her body of work is in traditional rugmaking 1790 to 1850. Old becomes new again. she like to take historic techniques and bring them forward to present day to create something useful by recycling and repurposing textiles.
She is one of the artists in residence at Old Sturbridge Village and has been so for the last 12 years where she demonstrates and teaches workshops to ladies from all parts around the world…..
