Quilter of the Year

The Quilter of the Year is awarded to a guild member who has gone
above and beyond the normal level of volunteerism. It is given to those who are
dedicated to serving the guild and working tirelessly in any way they can.

Life is a Quilt

Life is a quilt and our friends are the pieces
Basted together in midsummer breezes.
We pick them and place them next to each other
And the color of one changes that of the other.
By searching for them with our heart
We create a unique work of art.
Some pieces are new, some pieces are old,
Collected since childhood, they all now unfold
And the color of friendship is a sight to behold.
