Congratulations to MVQ Exhibitors at “A Quilters Gathering”

MVQ was well represented at the Quilters Gathering last weekend in Nashua!

Ildi Tary won a red ribbon for hand quilting [second to Linda Roy!]- quite an accomplishment. Her “New Beginnings” quilt was awarded the Jeannie Glenfield Memorial Ribbon.

Deb Kelso, Jeannie Robertson, Janet Lee Santeusanio , Cathy Harnisch, Janice Jones, Maggie Judd and Mary Ginn ,all made this year’s show a sight to behold with their  entries.

And, of course, our special invitational exhibit “Seven Sisters or Sew” . Sixteen small quilts were shown as an example of our “Creative Collectivity!”  This exhibit was first shown at the MVQ Quilt Show in April of 2011.  The Gathering planners saw it and thus the invitation!  We are proud to be a part of MVQ!
