MVQ 2024 Raffle Quilt

The 2024 Raffle Quilt Workgroup will be meeting on January 11th at West Congregational Church in Haverhill from 9:30-3. This first meeting will be for the preparation of the kits to distribute at our January meeting. We welcome any members that wish to help in this important first step! No sewing is required; we will iron, cut, and prepare the kits at this meeting. Feel free to grab your cutting mat, rotary cutter, and ruler and join us!

For those new to the guild, traditionally, we like to have members participate in constructing the raffle quilt. Members that wish to participate will “buy” a kit which contains fabric for a portion or block of the quilt. We ask for a $5 deposit to be returned to you when returning the finished block. Kits will be distributed in January, with returns requested at the February or March meeting. As the saying goes, “many hands make light work.”
