In Memory of Michael Beresford
One of our members, Michael Beresford, passed away this week. Here is the email received from his wife, Judy, who is also a member:
“Our wonderful Michael went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 21. He died of viral encephalitis, in a period of 2 weeks that began with tiredness and loss of appetite. He went to the hospital and had many tests and doctors consulting to help him recover, but the virus was unstoppable. He was peaceful, gentle, humorous, and faithful to the end. We will miss him so much.”

Talented MVQ members!
Kudos to Mvq members !! Quilts by Janice Jones and Carol Sullivan got ribbons at the Mancuso show in Manchester this weekend. See below. Then Stella Blunt’s beautiful quilt is at the Museum for Best Of New England Guilds and finally the great exhibit in Lowell by Broad Strokes members.
Our guild is well represented. Congrats to all these talented ladies
Quilter of the Year
Congratulations to Lin Caido for being named “Quilter of the Year”.
Lin is certainly very worthy of this honor.
She has helped MVQ in various positions since she first joined. She served as VP for two years.
She helped to rewrite the by-laws.
This year, she has been a co-chair of the Raffle Quilt for 2015-2016.
She is always ready to give hand at the Quilt Show or whatever needs to be done to keep MVQ as vital as it is.
