NEW INFORMATION
Hello everyone!
I hope you have been enjoying the crisp autumn air and getting out in the sunshine.
This is a NEW UPDATE about the Fall Retreat at FGH 11/11/20 to 11/15/20….
Maine is lifting the travel restriction for Massachusetts residents beginning 9/24/20. Those people traveling from Massachusetts will no longer be required to have a COVID test.
Please let Phyllis Lauria (pmlauria@msn.com) know ASAP if you would like to attend the Fall Retreat based on this information. Currently, there are only 5 people interested in the retreat and that is not enough people to go forward.
We need to let FGH know on 9/25/20 if we will be having the retreat.

Fall Quilt Retreat Registration is OPEN!!!
Where: Franciscan Guest House Kennebunk, Maine
When: Wednesday, November 6-Sunday, November 10 2019
It’s that time of year again! We are now accepting registrations for the Fall Retreat. Please get your registrations in early as this is a first come, first served event and space is limited by the number of rooms available and the capacity of the sewing room. If there are more registrations than we have space for, there will be a waiting list.
Please note that at the time of registration, you must be a current paid member of MVQ for the 2019-2020 year in good standing and have committed to volunteer in some capacity for the 2019 Quilt Show. If you are unsure if you have paid your membership dues, please contact Bev Valle.
The registration form and price list are both on the MVQ website. Please indicate your room choice and roommate on the registration form. Roommates will be charged for the same number of nights per room regardless of arrival/departure. For example, if you arrive on a Wednesday and your roommate does not arrive until Friday, the rate for both will be for 4 nights. This is per request of Franciscan Guest House. There are only 2 ground level rooms available to us and if we have more requests than we can accommodate, there will be a lottery for those rooms.
This year, there may be an option to stay until Monday, November 11th if we get a minimum of 10 people. Please indicate on the registration form if you are interested. If we get 10 people, we will have you send in a check for the extra night.

Fall MVQ Retreat at Franciscan Guest House, Kennebunk
Hi Everyone!
We hope you are all staying cool this steamy summer! The fall is fast approaching and this is a reminder about the fall quilt retreat at
Franciscan Guest House in Kennebunk.
Dates: Wednesday, November 6, 2019-Sunday November 10, 2019.
The cost is the same as last spring, and can be found in the retreat information/pricing attachment here.
There is a possibility of staying until Monday, November 11th depending on how many of us are interested (as well as the other guild with whom we share the space).
Some of you have already let Phyllis know that you’re interested in the extra night. Please let me know who else may be interested in staying the extra night.
Please DO NOT send registration form in yet; we will let you know when registration is open!!
