Michelle uses a variety of shapes to create this collection of 14 patterns, ranging in size from wall hangings to bed-size quilts. Some of the projects feature more modern, geometric blocks; others transform jelly rolls into novelty blocks like rainbows, whales, and cats. Crumb quilting is pure creative freedom. There’s no pattern to follow—just grab those tiny scraps, stitch them together, give the edges a quick trim, and keep adding more little “crumbs” until a block or panel appears. The magic is in the chaos: every piece is scrappy, textured, and completely one‑of‑a‑kind. No two blocks ever look alike, and the whole process invites color play, improvisation, and joyful zero‑waste quilting
