MVQ Meetings Go Live

Posted on

Liz Swan and I (Cathy Harnisch) have been learning how to create a live virtual meeting. With all the various options for virtual meeting, we decided upon using Youtube Live. Mainly because it’s free.

The following link will get you to our first meeting. Mistakes and all. We will let you know when the next meeting will take place. If you view live, while we are recording, you can ask questions through Youtube chat.

Once a meeting is concluded, the video will be available for viewing for one week. After that week, we will be deleting the videos.

Here’s the video. Liz and I were rolling on the floor with laughter upon watching the video after it was done.

Let us know what you think.

Your Communications Chair,
Cathy Harnisch

Can get to opening logo and music then everything stays black with some rustling in the background. Any idea what Iā€™m doing wrong?

Hi Cathy, Just watched the MVQ video. šŸ‘ Slide show looked great and except for some sound going out at the end it looks like this is going to be successful. Thanks to you and Liz for working so hard to keep everyone updated and in touch. Looking forward to in person gatherings but this is a perfect solution. Lynne

      Lynne,

I realized what I was doing wrong regarding the audio on our first take. Then I accidentally hit the wrong button on the second take. But we are novices at this. Liz and I had a great laugh at ourselves once it was done.

Thanks for watching it. And thanks for the feedback.

      Cathy H
