40 plus equals 40th
I’ve been talking to a few folks about leading the charge for a wham bang Red and White exhibit at our 2020 quilt show which will be MVQ 40th Anniversary year. Since Mary mentioned it in her journey I wanted to elaborate.
Let’s worry Carrie Z that we have so many member quilts to hang she will have to hang from rafters
Simple rules – any size quilt from miniature to bed size and Red and White fabrics only- no other colors allowed. Have one already like Mary then you’re in a good place.
So pull out your books and patterns, look around at spring shows for inspiration, dig out some old reds or run to your favorite shop and buy new and let’s get 40 plus quilts from our members in 2020!!! After all it’s only two years away.

Congratulations.
I want to personally congratulate Ann, Diane, the members of the Quilt Show Committee and all the volunteers that made the show a great success. It takes a team to get the job done. It is apparent that the A team showed up this year. Thank you, everyone, for your participation. Job well done!
