Antique Quilt Lecture: Focuses on antique and vintage quilts and pieced tops. How to collect, care for, store, restore, and conserve. The study, value, and the beauty of what was once just a household item. I encourage audience members to bring a quilt for an interactive show-and-tell. We will date it if you don’t already know. And, if you know its history, how to keep it faithful to future generations. These quilts far outlive their makers and, if well cared for, their present caretakers. Q&A is also encouraged.
