October Appliqué orkshop

Posted on

Saturday’s appliqué workshop can also be done in cotton. It doesn’t have to be silk. The kits are all silk but Christine will let everyone know what they need tomorrow if they want to do cotton appliqué. Also, they will need an 18-inch background piece for the pillow and no need to bring any silk threads as she will have them.  Patterns will also be available.

Workshop Openings

Posted on

We have many openings in the May workshop with Marlous Carter and could use a few more people to sign up and help fill the class? It is on visual piecing. Also, there are still openings for Becky Goldsmith in May and Pat Pauly in June. We would really like to fill these classes for these great instructors, so please email me if you’d like to sign up. April and June workshops will be held at West Church in Haverhill and Becky Goldsmith will be held on the Friday after our meeting at the Plaistow library. Directions to West Church will be in the April newsletter.

Thanks.
Ronni

A Note From The Singing Quilter

Mola WorkshopBev, Lin and Susan: Thank you so much for having us along to the
Merrimack Valley quilters this week, and for your attendance at the Mock
Mola workshop this afternoon. The response to the challenge at the
workshop was remarkable, and Cathy was more than satisfied with the
progress you all made. It makes it very rewarding for us to be able to
see what you accomplished. Please do send us a copy of the show and
tell at the June meeting. Individually you may (should) also send
pictures of your finished work. 8-))

all the best, John & Cathy
